The Systems of Representation seeks to make knowledge related to heritage tangible through the use of representation and digital media.
To achieve this, we develop and implement new methods, prototypes and tools.
Our interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary work includes research projects and educational activities that bring together art, design, humanities, and science. The group researches the use information and communications technologies (ICT) and Media for the dissemination and preservation of tangible and intangible heritage. Working with academic and heritage institutions, our goal is to engage in state-of-the art national and international research with industry and science partners.
We support doctoral studies, having three successfully completed DA thesis so far and several more in the works.
